William R. Scherer III is a Partner in the firm of Conrad & Scherer. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and currently practices in the areas of Employment/Civil Rights litigation and Commercial litigation. Mr. Scherer also has experience in Personal Injury, Entertainment Law, Intellectual Property and Maritime/Admiralty.
Mr. Scherer is a graduate of the University of Miami, earning a B.A. 1991, and a J.D. in 1994. While in law school, Mr. Scherer received the American Jurisprudence Award (“Book Award”) for Contracts in the fall of 1991 as the highest scoring student in the class.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Scherer joined Conrad & Scherer and began practicing in its litigation division. While with Conrad & Scherer, Mr. Scherer has handled over 400 client matters/cases and has experience at both pre-trial and trial phases of litigation.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. Scherer served as a Broward County Traffic Magistrate in 2002-2003 where he acted as judicial arbiter of traffic infraction cases.
Mr. Scherer has two children, Marina and William. He is also an accomplished musician and a martial arts student, holding a first degree black belt with USA Black Belt Champions.
